I have been keeping my boat at Inland for the past 3 years. The owners always make sure they have the best price. The property is well maintained and my boat is always handled with expertise. I have dealt with other Marinas in the area and I have to say this is the best by far. They have gas, a store, pump out, good ramps and up to date equipment. My boat couldn't be in better hands.
Great prices, even better people
I original wrote a review earlier this spring. Today is July 22nd and I still haven't gotten a check for my cancelled season. I mentioned earlier that they needed to sell my slip from their waiting list. I guess they are having problems finding their waiting list. Maybe their offices are a mess and they cant find it. Here waiting list! Here waiting list!
You be the Judge. I have been in Inland Harbor Marina for over 25 years. And every year have paid my $500 non refundable deposit for the next season by Dec. 1st. (Christmas Time). They ask for this deposit so they can guarantee a slip for the new season as they have a waiting list for new customers who want to get into the marina. They used to have payment plans that you could pay off the balance throughout the season. But now they insist on the balance by April 1st. (Income Tax Time). Balance for me this season was $718 and I paid by April 1st. I just unexpectedly bought a new home out of state. I called April 26th to tell them I wouldn't be launching my boat this year because of the new home purchase and that I would like my balance of $718 back. Their response was that they would have to sell my spot to someone first. This is the 4th of June and they still haven't sold the slip. What happened to their long waiting list???? I've called many time to discuss and even told them I would write a bad review vs a good review if I got my money back, but they have totally ignored my calls. They never get back. Once they have your money you don't matter. I also have them bottom wash the boat every year to get the full year rates and that runs over $200, and they also store my trailer during the summer. They also broke my tail lights on the trailer on 2 occasions and I was told to take it up with my insurance company as they are not responsible. So after 25 years this is how it ends. You be the Judge!
Fun weekend summer boating environment
